Default 92 Civic Stereo Wiring Diagram and Alarm Question?

I bought a 92 civic DX hatchback yesterday and it has an alarm system that was installed by circuit city, but he had it disconnected(looks like they just pulled the plug from the battery) i see everything is still there and connected, but 1.) i dont have the remote and 2.) he said it drained his battery(thats why he had them disconnect it). So i need to know how i could fix the draining battery part and get a new remote? Thanks!

oops, the title says Stereo wiring diagram, but i found that using the search button

The alarms Circuit City sells are the Viper series made by DEI. They are pretty good alarms, I have one and I have never had any problems with it draining the battery. I do have a back up battery for the alarm.

I cant vouch for the quality of the Circuit City installation though. I havent been terribly impressed with it. When I rebuilt my hybrid I re-did all the alarm wiring.

Getting a replacement transmitter shouldn't be too much of an ordeal. Go to Circuit City or call DEI (Directed Electronics Inc.) for help.
