I can't tell from any of the pictures I have seen how the Civic logo is applied to the floor mats. Is it stitched on or is the carpet in that area just a different color? I am looking into getting my wife to stitch the logo onto some aftermarket floor mats but I need a better image of the logo so that we can match the construction as closely as possible. I need a close up picture of the area in red or perhaps a macro mode picture of just a single letter. Thanks in advance. I will post pictures of the results back to this thread if it works out ok.

 

It's stitched. I have the original floor mats but they are so old and faded that I don't think I can help more than that.

My guess is that the stitching was originally white?

 

It is embroidered on. The thread is actually silver/light grey, not white. Same as the stitching color on the oem hood bras.

I have some pics around of the ones from my 68k mile Si hatch.
Also, had some of the nos ones sold to Robb.

 

I have PM'd Rob. for a picture. If I am happy with my imitation floor mats then I will not be competing with him for new OEM floor mats.
