anodizing removal?
ok so i have some 2/3 pc wheels (how ever you look at it) and i do not like the barrel color. they are anodized and want to remove it. i looked on a few sites but got no concrete answer. what is best way to remove anodizing at home w/o blast cab?
Chemical stripper.
And, just as an FYI, you will do damage to aluminum if you media blast it (even if you cannot see it, the structure gets damaged at a microscopic level).

^ yea i was aware if damaging thats why mentioned w/o using, maybe i was not clear that was out of the question. but stripper will work? i read several things said it may or may not, and some guys had issues removing with striper.
thanks matt.
