Hello all ...First time poster here. Ok so I've heard Acura's have horrible tranny problems well the 2003 cl's anyways. I have a co-worker who wants to sell his cl Type S (130,000 miles) for $1000. He said it has the typical 2nd to 3rd hard shifts. I called around the local shops and prices range from $2700 to $4300. The car is in excellent shape..well besides the tranny. Should I even waste any time or money on this or am I looking at a money pit?

Swap a 06-07 accord trans. Swap over need parts. Has short 3/4/5 gears I believe and has updated parts. Never use manual mode ever again. Change ATF ever 3 oil changes

 

How did the swap go? Any issues or problems?
