How to install a/c in a 91 civic with a d16z6 swap?
I have a 91 civic with a d16z6 swap and the guy who had it before removed all the a/c components. The engine came out of a 95 civic so would i need all the a/c components from that car? Also what all do i need? Im sure there are little things im not even realizing i need.
I've never done it...but because it's a d series block, i would imagine you could just reuse all of the original parts from your 91 civic. If you are missing parts, you will have to track down a complete inventory of what is needed.
Evaporator core, expansion valve, receiver/drier, compressor, condenser, ac fan, bracket with pulley and belt, all appropriate lines, r134 conversion adapter for both the high and low side so you can properly vacuum and recharge the system.
You may want to have a shop do the vacuuming and charging for you though.
