Excedy clutches?
Ok all, I'm about to buy an Excedy clutch kit for 109.00 flat. I think its a pretty good deal. Any general comment is welcome, post up if you have any experiance with Excedy clutches. A few questions before I make a purchase.
Are'nt Excedy clutches brand new?
Is it a good clutch to have, I plan on doing mods, but nothing CRAZY.
Reliability? this is my daily driver, so I dont want it to crap out after 10K miles.
Jonesy

Judging by the price, this is the equivelant of the oe replacement, right? I know the organic racing clutch costs around $250. It should be OK if ou stick to bolt-ons.
I havent heard much about Exedy clutches.. how do they compare against companies like ACT, or Clutchmasters? better, worse, or about the same? I was considering getting a clutchmasters stage 3 or 4 for my lude and i will be running 8 to 10 psi... suggestions? comments?

Exedy makes clutches for Honda and I think other manufacturers, so I trust their quality. As for the other brands you named, I heard some of them sell refurbished units, not that they are worse, but I just don't trust that as much.
That doesn't sound right man. It is probably an OE replacement. Exedy's are newly manufactured, but the full face organic race clutch tends to run $270.
