I'm thinking about painting my hubcaps, I can't afford rims right now cuz of all the maintenance stuff I've been doing to her, but I have extra time on my hands for the next couple days. I don't like the look of steelies, but I'll be painting them black because they look rusted.
Should i go black or white on a 2000 WHITE EX COUPE ?
And if you got any pics please post them up.

White actually looks decent. Not black. There's an EK coupe with white hubs around where I live, next time I see it I'll snap a pic so you could see.

 

I know but i have a hard time deciding. I think black will make it more ricey and more police attention, white might look cleaner, but also some attention, dunno which one would be worse though. I'm afraid that having them white will make it look stupid.

Ok cool thanks. I've done alot of maintenance stuff to it, not i kinda wanna work on the cosmetic stuff. Only did i did was spray paint my floor lol, it was all nasty looking before. Came out good.

Black will make it look trashy, honestly. White will make them look clean. After all, they are hubcaps so not like it matters. I'd personally rock steelies over hubcaps 24/7

 

 

paint them silver like the oem finish unless you want to stand out

 

You're painting hub caps? Just keep them silver/oem as said above.. I wouldn't paint them anything else unless you want that cheap/rice look imo.

But hey it's your car and back in the day I would have said black. For you it'll look good no matter which you do, so do which you want. Maybe black on one side and white on the other?

 

I like gunmetal. I ran steelies with gunmetal hubcaps for a year until I found a set of wheels I wanted. To pull it off you have to have clean flat black steelies (not rusted). I have pics but they're off the car

Just look for your car with whatever color wheels, it's the same idea just with hubcaps

Paint them white and plastidip them black, then choose which you prefer.
Maybe even two-tone. Can you post a picture of the type of hubcaps you have so I can photoshop it?

 

why would you paint them black? you might as well just run steels.. which you said you didn't like.
