Gonna mount them on a 89 Civic ef Stock obd1 b18 with Just intake and exhaust.

Good luck with a slick that big!!! You really should be running a 22" slick. I am launching my eg hatch with a gsr swap at 6500-7000 with 23"x 8.5.

That is way too much for that setup, I let my buddy borrow my 24.5x8.5 on his i/h/e h22 swapped coupe and it worked well for him. He was launching around 7500 rpms on a stage 3 clutch and stock axles.

I'm not sure how much longer that would've lasted though.

Those tires are way to big for that. Like stated you should be running 22's. If your set on running them leave a lot of air in them so the walls don't wrinkle. And launch it off the limiter lol

then get some radials man slicks will kill you on the track or ensure you take a tow pig with you so you can get home when you smoke the clutch

Sell the 24.5 slicks and get some 22s.
You will have wayyyyy better luck with those.

Definitely get some smaller slicks/radials. I'm willing to bet you will go a decent bit slower with that much tire. Especially if you still are using a LS trans lol

You're also not going to go from a 15.4 to a mid 14 from slicks. It's an Ls motor with an intake.

Thanks for your input guys.
Guess im just gonna look for smaller slicks.

@tuner eddy
My buddy was running consistent 15.3-15.4 on street tires
98 Ls integra with BC stage 2 cams, I/H/E Untuned
Ran 14.5 with 22x7x15 MH slicks
Im pretty sure ill hit mid 14s but will see.
