There are two fans on your car. Both should turn on and run at the same time any time the car is on.

When you say you checked the "fan" that means something must be wrong OR you need to reword your statement.

Thank you for getting back at me..i checked my 2 fans by coonecting them to the car battery and they both work.i also blead the system too,and nothing seem to work..the only way they work is if i short them(jump). When the car gets realy hot the passenger fan comes on after the car is of,wich i think is a good thing..

Replace part number 14 in the diagram from Honda...or you can ask for the "fan switch" at your nearest parts store. See if that fixes it. Feel free to report back if it does.

Well, I'll assume we are talking about the ones for the fans.

There are two. One, I call Thermo A is on the t-stat housing where the lower hose connects. This controls the fans (BOTH) when the car is "on".

The other one, Thermo B, is on the housing where the upper hose connects. This one controls THE FAN when the car is off.

Kind of bringing up an old thread here. I am having the same problem, my dads 91 Accord EX will get hot after driving in town after a while. I noticed the cooling fan DOES NOT come on at all when the temp guage starts going up. I would like to test the sensor located near the thermostat housing that "holmesnmanny" had mentioned. What is the best way to test it? Should I test it when the engine is OFF and the key is TURNED AHEAD?? Or turn the ENGINE ON and test it then?? All my fuses are fine and cooling fan relay is good. I just want to narrow down the problem before I start throwing parts at it.

Thermo A on the t-stat housing. Key on (pos II), engine off, remove the connector and jump the wire side of the connector with a piece of wire/paper clip/ ect.

BOTH fans should run (assuming this came factory ac and has two fans).

Lost again I will try jumping the connector that is on switch A. And yes it has factory AC. So if the fan TURNS ON then the switch is bad?? What about if the fan DOES NOT turn on??
