Over a year ago I bought a straight clean 2000 civic. The owner dicked me around for months, meeting for coffee, texting, and talking about getting the title. Never happened. I still have the bill of sale stating contingent on title coming through. It just never happened. It was too expensive for a cheap guy to follow through. I listed the car complete several times with no luck. I'm hoping someone can give me a good offer and take a clean ek 2000 coupe to build whatever they want. It's rust free and clean. It's electron blue pearl. Factory 5 speed car. Interior is mostly gone. The engine trans and hood headlights and front bumper gone. Body is gorgeous. Sunroof works. Very few minor parking lot dings. Adjustable coil overs with dc sport sway bar and aftermarket lower rear control arms still there. Lots left, but when I had no success selling as a whole I did what I could to get some of my money back.
I'm looking primarily for two or three types of buyers and none are tire kickers or low ballers.

Number one, someone wanting a clean shell to build a track car or auto cross. You've got a motor and trans, you're tired of rust, and you want a clean car and its a track car being trailered so a title doesn't matter.
Number two, you've got connections in the DMV. Whether in Illinois or another state.
I had a 3rd party friend of a friend connection that did the background check on this car. I went to the address of the last titled owner before the title was lost. No luck and it was two hours of driving. The car is not stolen. You can check the vin for yourself.
In my opinion it needs to be used in some way. It's a true low mileage original 2000 em1 si with a clean title history. Just no paperwork due to abandonment.
If you're interested oull be questioned and screened. I'm not a teenager I'm a thirty something enthusiast and I wanna see this go to a good home.

The car can easily be parted out for $500 plus for what's there. I'm looking for a good solid offer because I don't wanna see it stripped and scrapped. At least if its raced, it'll be alive again.
