HELLO, I HAVE SEVERE BRAKE ISSUES
Hello all, I own a 92 accord lx. I replaced the dead motor and auto tranny with a good motor and manual tranny from a 1990 dx. All was good until a few days ago when suddenly my right front caliper was smoking like mad. I have replaced the calipers, hardware and pads, I can not figure out what is happening. I have bled the entire system many times. and all parts test good, only thing that may be culprit is my proportioning valve, I only get braking power on the right side. nothing from the right any and all help will begreatly appreciated.
Or it could be that the brake line has a flap acting like a one way valve on the inside caused from letting the caliper hang everytime someone performed a brake job.
If the slides are greased and the pads are wearing evenly, what nus_dogg is saying is that the fluid cannot return to the MC after releasing the pedal. So the brake may be hanging up. Fluid flow to the caliper may be fine, but return flow to the MC may be blocked.

Crack open the bleeder valve without pressing the brakes and see if brake fluid shoots out. If it does, the brake hose is bad as nus already suggested is possible.
If that checked out ok and no fluid shot out I would pick up a used caliper from the same make and trim from the junkyard. Just gotta make sure it's the same as yours...either Nissin or Akebono and it can't be the wagon or the se model
