I have an 89Si. I recently got power windows and leather doorpanels from Europe. Now here is the situation. The leather door panels are for cars in which the seatbelt is mounted to the pillar. 89-91 Si's(not sure about dx and hf) seatbelts are in the doors, however 88 Si's have the seatbelts mounted to the door.

Now I have 2 questions:

1)Has anybody ever done this swap? If so how hard was it and what parts did you need from a donor car?

2)If you notice the plastic strip that runs vertically along the edge of the door right next to the window(you see alot of these broke or missing on CRX's) you will notice that they are alot different in size between the 88 and 89-91 Si's. So are 88 and 89-91 Si's doors interchangable without any additional work?

Any info is greatly appreciated..... I want to install my flawless leather doorpanels and LHD power window kit.
