Everyone hates on ricey cars. I personally don't care what it looks like. Fast is fast. Comfortable is comfortable. Style is like beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder, right?

Personally, I'd worry about the suspension, brakes and clutch first. Probably take the car to a shop to do the clutch unless you are experienced or have time to do it yourself.

Brakes are easy, shouldn't take but a weekend. And the shocks and springs can be changed out at the same time you're messing with the brakes.

Also, why are you getting new body parts? Is it missing pieces? Because it looks like you could just sand and prime those parts to fix em up. That and some bondo would go a long way. The car doesn't look bad for $800.

For body panels, go to a pick and pull junkyard.

Clutch, get a new OEM online or a performance clutch if you want.

Throttle cable can be found on ebay or the for sale area here. If you get me the engine model, I have a D15 series DPFI throttle cable.

Shocks and springs can be found on here used. Stock ones should be a dime a dozen because everyone upgrades those soon after buying a car. Or you can get better shocks and springs/coilovers online yourself.

Corner lights, send me a PM. I have some black corner lights for a CRX you can have if they look alright to you. They are clear with a black backing. Mint, brand new. I have a hatch though so I guess I ordered the wrong ones. Ooops.

Tail lights you can get some decent ones on Ebay (they have non ricey stuff too) for 80$ or go to the pick and pull for stock ones.

As far as a tune up, swapping fluids and adjusting the throttle and clutch cable does go a long way. Cleaning out the throttle intake and maybe putting a new air filter improves performance for next to free.

Good luck with the car. I love a CRX.

the fenders are the ugly z3 so those are going to be replaced and hood is all banged up so thats needs replacing as well. The bumper actually doesn't look bad just sand and prime as well as the rest of the body.

The guy I bought it from gave me a clutch but not sure if its any good how would I be able to check that?

for suspension I planning on going the Koni/GC setup with spring rate of 400/450 since I am planning to make this a car that can handle the track but still keep it streetable if that even is a word lol

Negative comments to a relatively new member gives them a negative view on the site. Should point someone in the right direction, It's bound to lead to less "riced" Honda's. Constructive criticism is one thing but bashing a car untouched by the current owner, That's just sad. But what do I know second post :p

After changing the head/tail light, fenders with some paint This thing will be in nice shape. I don't see any rust. But I also agree with Free. If the car isn't safe to drive the hell with what it looks like. A quick Maaco paint job goes a long way for a primered car Good Luck

I'd paint this for free! And I seewhat you mean about needing new body parts. Very ricey honda. More than mine! Haha. Mine has a body kit

Anyways, those are Civic corner lights. The tail lights are MEGA ricey. Not even like fast and furious rice, just like obnoxious ghetto chrome stuff. I dislike that. I have ricey tail lights on my car, but not to that level.

Well, good luck!

No rust since car was in texas its whole life and yes in the process of de-rice.

Also need to change the exhaust too loud for me but for some reason while in idle the exhaust keeps popping every 1-2 seconds wonder why is that?

also it has D15B2

Here's the engine bay:
