2000 civic lx Catalytic Converter Swap
how hard is it to swap the catalytic converter on a d16y7? I Know its part of the manifold. Is it just as simple as unbolting the manifold / down pipe and pulling the assembly off as a whole or do i need to remove a bunch of other stuff like the ps pump radiator etc??
Any insight would be helpfll.
Thanks

It's just an issue of unbolting the MF - nothing else needs to be removed.
There is one nut where the DP connects to the CC that is very hard to deal with. You should have two identical 10 or 12MM (dont' recall which size) wrenches to get it off - it will be apparent when you try to remove it.

I can tell when people haven't been under their cars in a while. Just go out and pop the hood. Look at all the connections. It's all bolts. Remove the oxygen sensors and unbolt everything.
Then go out and invest in a field service manual so you don't have to ask these simple questions in the future.
