Default About that rear engine mount

I have an 89 HB civic and I'm swapping in a b series motor. Point here being it took awhile to get the rear mount in and I hook everything up besides that. Now I'm having an impossible time trying to get that thing on. Any suggestions? Should I remove the engine and start over. Or is there like a trick to getting the rear hasport mount and the bracket from the trans to work together?

I only have one bolt in the trans mount right now, the top one. And I don't have the mount connected to the frame all the way either. The back bolt popped out (had it pretty loose I guess) While I was trying to get the bolt that holds the mount to the bracket to connect. So everything has like one bolt in it now.

Hopefully someone can chime in and tell me, "Oh, just do **** and **** and then it's done" Ya know?

I'm going to try again tomorrow. Been doing this for like 6 hours today. Maybe it's just not my day.

The rear mount is the first one to go in.

Next time, go to the Hasport site and read the instructions.

I rear that kind of late. I was going to wait for the mount to come in, but the person I'm borrow the hoist from needed it back so I put the motor in without having it. I'll pull it out today I guess, and start again. It shouldn't be too hard really, I know what I'm doing this time.

Thanks.

if u have a big jack u can use that to lift the motor on top of a block of wood. ijust put an engine in and the order i put the mounts in was rear tranny, front tranny, then side tranny and finished at the top motor. couldnt have gone smoother.

I got it in. I just lifted the motor, undid the 2 side mounts, lifted it up higher. Attached the rear bracket 100% and then put the rear bolt in. Put the driver side in. Loosened the trans side. Put the trans bolt in. Torqued it all down. Done. Took like an hour from start to finish. That rear mount was just a pain yesterday. Couldn't get it figured out.

Thanks though.
