B18b spun rod bearing, best wroute to fix
okay I have a B18B that spun the rod bearing on Cylinder 2.
the bearings completely disintegrated. the crank looks salvageable, the rod not so sure about.
It is an eagle rod. I can't find anywhere I can buy just ONE eagle rod for a good price.
The machine shop around town charges 75.00$ / hour for polish etc. I'm sure I could get a brand new rod for near that price
also I will take it to a machine shop to be checked etc, but where would I be able to buy oversized bearings? I can only find stuff for a B18C
Could I just have it honed / polished and rom OEM / STD size bearings? as long as it it within spec would that be ok
