Gas tank strap size?
Alright, if anyone is following my build thread I've been slowly fixing my girlfriends 89 DX hatchback. One of the said "fixes" is the fuel tank; leaky, rusty, and plain ugly it needed to be replaced. I finally got a new tank and it seems to be almost 100% perfect to the factory one.
My straps on the other hand (non-OEM replacement/dorman) were two different lengths and do not seems to be fitting correctly. Is one supposed to be on one side while the other the opposite? Its incredibly irritating messing with this because I'm using standard drive up ramps and a small floor jack.
If anyone could give me some insight on how to install these buggers, or which strap goes on what side that would be excellent.

Figured it out. Delete/ignore whatever I guess.
Longer strap goes on the right hand side facing the rear, shorter goes on the left hand side. The tank has a slight difference in slope on either sides. I was looking for differences in the frame slots hence my lack of accuracy in determining strap location.
