Long story short I was going to replace the igniter on my Gf car(her idle was a little inconsistent and we did this on a friends 97 and it fixed the problem).I changed the igniter which looked toast went to start it and this is what happpend could the coil need replacing too? any help would be greatly appreciated. I will Paypal a $5 Reward for the person who info fixes me Gf's car,Matt.

 

Put the old one back on. Diagnose the idle problem by other means such as IACV or closing the holes in TB or checking the vacuum leak.

Thanks,Replaced it with original and still didn't start. Must have frieded some wires or something else internal.Sad to say I have to go to Napa and pick up a new one

 

Check your spark plug wires. Make sure they are in this order.
