Vortec super charger:.. Are they still around for a b16?
Can't seem to fi d it anywhere I like the design with the aftercooler only looking to possibly run low boost and do t want a standerd turbo
A friend of mine has a aero charger( I believe a turbo for skidoo's) and some others with t3 turbos and don't want to go that route I prefer to stay n/a and once I too out put the super charger on for alittle better low end grunt

Nope. Discontinued. You could always try the Kraftwerks Supercharger setup from Skunk2.

Public forum and I'm asking a question for clarification. You're in the N/A forum bashing FI and how you're going to be proud for building a 200hp car but don't seem to know what you need to do to do it. Which one is it?
And what's a B16AD?

And since your choice does not give you the outcome you guessed it would (because you did not do research) you're stuck N/A because you're scared of turbochargers because you're under the belief that superchargers are somehow more reliable.
I do read minds. I'm a teacher. It's part of the job description. But this statement says otherwise. Duh.

I don't believe in turboing a car that hassent turbo'd from the factory..
I have no need for a turbo
Why would I want to spend that kind of money to have way more power then what I need?? My wife still needs to be able to drive the the car so I don't want to much power for her to get speeding tickets if cought doing to much they crush your car almost on site so I want to stay away from crazy power.. Just looking for some more fun during the summer at the track so why spend upwards of 3GS for power ill never use??
Yup your right u figured me out....

Not turbo'd from the factory but you'd put a supercharger on it?
More power than you'd need? You build it for the power you want. It doesn't work that way. See how you don't know anything?
Don't want speeding tickets but want a 200hp car? You can get speeding tickets in a Geo. The driver controls the car, not the other way around.
And you'll spend that money trying to go N/A and then slapping supercharger on it.
As you can see you make absolutely no sense. Don't get mad because I'm pointing it out.
Your whole argument is nonsense.

Sorry you don't want to educate yourself. As long as you keep posting uninformed nonsense someone will call you out on it.

If you want 200whp cheap do a h22a/4/3V swap instead. You could go with the H2b swap for cheap, just be in it mounts, harness, and adapter plate. Maybe 2G's all together, but after you sell your working b16 "AD" you wont have to put much out of pocket for the swap.
What the hell is a "AD-after dave" anyhow? Wiki has nothign on it at all...

I think you should take advice better. A fool is not someone who is slow at learning, a fool is one who can not unlearn something he's already been taught.
These guys are here to help, and can be a great resource. Being humble can go a long ways, I dont believe anyone would try to point you in the wrong direction intentionally.
For what your trying to do you could build a cheap boosted car with a boost control. You can have set on low for low HP when the wife drives it, then crank up the boost for tons of HP at the track. Just dont buy an absurdly big BOV and go "pfftche" every time you shift, and nobody will know yor boosted at all. Or just H swap it and call it a day.
