I have a 91 crx dx with a dohc zc and I'm trying to replace my axles. I know I don't have a zc trans but I can't figure out what axles I do need. I got 91 si axles and they fit into the trans but not the hubs. Si axles will fit into si or dx hubs. So that tells me exe axles won't work either. I do have all wheel disc brakes but I didn't do the swap it was done when I got the car. I really need some help as I currently have no car

 

if the Si/DX are too big for the hubs, you must have CRX HF/Civic STD hubs, which would mean you need CRX HF/Civic STD axles

The 91 Si Axles you bought are not 91 Si axles -or- you don't have DX knuckles/hubs.
Si axles fit the DX hubs.

 

Gonna try hf axles. The trans side is the same on all the trim levels correct?
