Default del sol - starts briefly and then turns off

I have a 95 Del sol with a d16y8 engine (p28 ecu). Problem is that every blue moon the engine will start goofing up. It will turn over but wont stay on. Then later it will start up as if nothing happen. Its been doing this for about 2 weeks now. I have gotten new spark plugs. Its getting a nice white spark, engine is getting fuel, all fuses are good. I've check on honda-tech and googled my problem. I don't think the main relay is a problem. It has the chipped key which I'm not too familiar with since my old coupe didn't have it. Any ideas?

Video of what its doing:

The 3rd time I'm holding the key in the cranking position.

Sounds like a fuel pump to me.

I have not, I know fuel is getting to the filter and fuel rail. As to the actual PSI, I have no clue at the moment.

By the way, these^ tests yield no useful information unless done when the engine WON'T start.

That's the thing that boggles my mind the most. There's no CEL codes even when I jump the connector.

The spark test was done when the engine was not working right.

How did you check if engine is getting fuel? Did you just listen to fuel pump priming? That doesn't necessarily mean it's getting fuel. Clogged filter and dead injectors will make engine lack fuel also.

This looks like engine is out of gas. So, you must not be getting fuel into the combustion chambers. Take the top of the filter and turn the key to ON to see if the fuel comes out. Make sure to have towers around it so that you don't get it all over the place.

Every time I take the spark plugs out they have wet fuel on them.

The light build in the instrument cluster does in fact work, spark is bright white.

A friend of mine that has more experience in Hondas told me that he thinks it could be the ignition switch or the ECU. How would I be able to determine of the ignition switch is faulty?

Bad ignition switch is a very good fit with the problem.

...but what is this chip you speak of? Immobilizer? Seems like it could also be the problem.

Basic troubleshoot: If the car stalls and after starting refuses to remain idling:

Turn the ignition OFF and restart the car. Once started slightly release the key from the start position (III.) Don't let the key fall back into run position (II) but don't let the starter continue to run. Most often, the car should not stall. If this is the case then the electrical switch is most likely bad.

Tried this and this seems to be it.

I guess you need a new switch.

Used a DMM tool to test the contacts on the ignition system for voltage. The actual ignition wire (Blk/Ylw) gets no power at all. Will be uploading a video of my findings shortly.

Last night I also took the switch apart and inspected the contacts, there seems to be solder on the contact that the mentioned wired is connected to. All contact points have a bronze like color to them, contact ring seems to be in "Good" condition according to the link
Lizardslap provided.
