Default 91 sedan seatbelt help

OK I got this car a week ago and the passenger side seatbelt didn't work it is always in the rear position and didn't move forward when the door was opened, then the seatbelt light and dinger started going off for a few days, now the drivers side seatbelt is stuck foreword and the dinger is still on, if I pull the buckle back a few inches and open the door it goes foreword but won't go back when door is closed. I've searched and it seems like everyone has a different answer. The fuses are all good and everything is connected. Any ideas?

If it's a clean stock car, then try Honda.
AFAIK lifetime warranty on all seatbelts from Honda.

4rdEF is correct, bring it to your local Honda dealership and they should fix it free of charge. My local honda dealership is replacing my two buckles and both retractors on my 89 CRX free of charge. Just need to wait for the parts to come in as they are coming from all over the USA

auto seatbelts are almost always not covered since they are electrical. if there were a mechanical failure, ie the clasp or the belt not pulling taut or retracting, then it would probably be covered. let us know what becomes of this

K well they told me the "seatbelt mechanism" needs replacement but its been discontinued, if they locate one it will be replaced under warranty. That doesn't help me now but hopefully they find one, this was at della Honda in plattsburgh new York.

Got a call yesterday afternoon they can't find the part and if they did I'd have to pay for the install, so I manually moved the seatbelts back and unplugged the plug behind the radio ashtray area to kill the seatbelt system, it works but I have to hook up two seatbelts now
