Jdm d16zc obd1 to obdo
I'm new on here and am in need of some help I got a 91 crx si and wanting to put the d16zc sohc in it but its obd1 how do I convert it to obdo so I can run my si harness and the pm6 ecu any help would be great thanks.
PM6 ECU is a bad way to do this.
You will need to buy a vtec controller to get vtec to work.
Then you will need some way to bump up your fuel map during vtec.
A lot of guess work and finger crossed and it will still never be quite right.
Get the proper P28 and convert to OBD1.
OBD1 jumper harnesses aren't very expensive and will have your Z6 running like it was meant to.

Sorry about that!
Most people call them ZC - all together with D16 had my eyes seeing D16z6.
Does your stock distributor bolt right up to that motor?
If so, then swap out the distributors and the intake manifolds and extend the wires for the cooling fan switch from the back of the motor to the thermostat housing.
