Very dumb question and I'm new to cars so I'm sorry..

but I have a 5th gen accord and when I try to lock it from the outside with the key, it just pops down for a little bit and back up to where its unlocked. Whenever I leave sometime, I would press the switch to lock the whole car and only the drivers side doesnt get locked.

Short story : All doors are locked except drivers side, or vice versa.

 

Its a anti lock your keys in your car system. Hold the inside door handle and hit the lock button they should lock then but make sure your keys are in your hand LOL
