Thinking about buying an itr but has odometer branded
As title states, thinking bout picking up another ITR I saw with the odometer branded. Owner says title is clean but branded as odometer misreading. I wasn't aware you can have a clean title and branded at the same time. He says odometer misreading doesn't effect the title (is this true). Anyways the car is definitely a project, but my question is. How bad will that brand effect reselling later down the road? Especially since I would be putting at least 5-6k to get it back to nice ITR status.
Any advice is appreciated . Thanks.

I have a car that I accidentally wrote the jdm cluster mileage on the new title and it was less than the original mileage. Upon looking at Carfax later on it through up a red flag as incorrect mileage. Kind of a whoops on my part but easily explainable. I don't consider it a big deal. Clusters are frequently swapped around and actual mileage is unknow. I'd say don't let it bother you.
I agree! When I bought my car the car fax said odo branded and title said incorrect mileage. The car was find no rust no damage etc so I bought it.
Mileage isn't a huge deal. Only reason why people want low miles or original miles is to have a higher resell impact value but seriously the majority of buyers of any itr are your targeted market.
Mileage isn't a huge factor for most.
