MO 1990 Civic Wagon EE2- $1000 OBO
This is a silver, stock, fourth generation Honda Civic Wagon (Chassis code EE2), automatic, FWD, with 224XXX miles. It has had 3 owners including me, and most of the miles are highway miles.
This was my first car and it has served me well, getting around 28 mpg (with 4 people + gear in the car for most trips). The body has very minor rust spots and some shallow dents, as well as some paint imperfections. The headlights and tail lights are all in working order. There is a small crack in the windshield that has been there since I got it a year ago and shows no signs of getting worse. The struts on the hatch no longer work so I use a large cardboard tube to hold it open if necessary. It's a ghetto solution but it works. The interior is a little dirty but is in good shape- most everything in the car is how I got it.
I have replaced all the belts and a faulty brake light switch, and changed the oil recently, about two or three months ago. The tires are old but serve their purpose well, even in the rain.
The major issue with the car is that the transmission will no longer shift into 3rd gear. The car's engine runs strong and it will start and drive, but not much faster than 35-40 MPH. It is possible to shift out of 3rd gear with some prodding of the gas pedal but I have had little success.
It would make a great project car, parts car, or autocross car, and would even be OK for someone needing to drive something a short distance in town.
I'm asking $1000 or your best offer. I realize it isn't worth too much but I need to sell it and get some money out so I can get a new DD before classes start this fall. If you would like, I'll throw in 2 TYPE-R decals I bought for it (as a joke with a friend).

Got the picture with the sign!
