I thought i'd finally put together some photos of my car and parts i've put into it.

Long story short, I began with a '93 coupe and then went to an Si hatch. The rust became bad in the quarters so i picked up a CX hatch which is what you see now.

Nooooo save the B series!

I suppose if your going to go K then a K20R is an amazing replacement. I am a HUGE fan of this car I hope you keep up this thread when you go through with the swap. I would love to sell my mint EM1 and put something like this together but I just don't have the place to do so. Awesome car man, keep it up!

 

Very clean build with quality parts! If you decide to go K, Ill take your Toda parts for my R. :D

 

More info on those suspension "risers" as well, whats their purpose?

lol, i've had my B18C-R motor for about 6 years now. I was going to rebuild it but decided to go K20-R instead i do agree that a B-series looks 'right' in the bay though!

The person buying my ITR motor will actually be keeping the Toda head package as well. I feel it's too much trouble to part it out and put stock back in so i'm selling it with the longblock.

When i first installed the Spoon N1's, the rear was tucking tire even at maximum height. I was also preloading the spring too much trying to raise it up and the ride was too harsh in the rear. I consulted my local shop and they had some customer spacers made for me to solve my height issue. I was able to unload the rear spring preload and keep a height that I was happy with.

lol, yes i drive around town with the R888's. I got them for a good price so i don't mind killing them on the streets with all the heat cycles. noisy tires though and they flick up a lot of rocks

You added a power steering rack? I've never seen that on a CX chasis. Only on DX automatics and Si's.
