HELP 2001 accord water leaking inside the cabin
Water is coming in to the cabin from the passenger side i took the top cowl off and put some silcon on it and dumped water on it and the water is still coming in somebody was saying something about the drain being clogged i cant find it am trying to fix this it is all ways rain where am at and am tired of my carpet being wet is there any fix should i order a new top cowl or try to get that seal for it..... Am not 100percent sure where its coming in from
had you been running ur a/c when it leaks? is there a puddle of water under the car after u run ur a/c. if it leaks when the ac is on and theres no puddle under the car ur drain tube is blocked from leaves and other crap getting sucked into the evap box
It doesnt happen when the ac is on there is water under the car when the ac is on .....it happens when it rain or the car goes thru the car wash am try and unclog the ac hose since i know where it is but the water is exiting right be hind the fan motor i can try and get a picture if it helps i just dont know where the water is entering.
the caulkin on ur windshield may have dried up and cracked. silicon done right will work for a temp fix but to fix it permanently have the glass replaced. it could also come in thru the air intake for the cabin, but if that was the case u should hear water in ur blower box when ur fan is running and u pour water on the car. other than that i really have no idea wat else it could be
the water was coming in those holes as it was draining out ... the rubber was pushed in i pulled it back out poured water on the windshield and got the car washed no more water on my pass side hope this helps other people .... Or at least give them another place to look
