You buy a real lip or a new front bumper. Honestly, pull a lip off of a junkyard car or look for a lip on here. Don't Home Depot it. It will look terrible. Worse than a body kit. It will never look clean or "legit." It will look fake and weird. I'd just leave it stock honestly. Looks fine.

And yes, my civic does have a lip and a body kit. And I hate it most of the time.

Freemananana doesn't know what he's talking about. It will look super sweet broski. Just screw it right into your bumper with some screws to attach it. Make sure you use as many shiny silver screws as you can possibly find. Put the screws as close together as you can. That way it will be like a bedazzled strip across the front. That makes it even more legit. Please post pictures when you're done. Can't wait to see it!

I was actually being useful today and contributing, hopefully, usable advice.

Function before form. Trust me. Do it backwards and HondaTech will hate you. Or you can say screw the rules of society, like I did, and end up realizing that a pimped out civic isn't what you wanted.

Don't use garden edging.
Find a real lip, either from another Civic or another brand and retrofit that.
Home depot is NOT a parts store for your car.

Return it and buy a real lip, man. Look through the lip and side skirt thread for ideas.

CoBaker your avatar screwed with me lmao. I kept trying to kill the damn bug. Anyway back to post. Thank you for not doing the garden edging crap. Enough EF's are destroyed already we don't need to help any that are still left.

There are enough Honda lips out there from other models that can work and fit right, if you take the time.
