xtd ebay clutch?
good disc, weak PP
i bought a "stage 3" and it grabs, but its not a stage 3 feel in relation to the pedal feel. more like stage 1 or stock. at least go the the stage 1 from exedy. its priced very well on ebay and its a known brand

"Stage" doesn't mean crap between brands. It's not a standard measurement of clamping force or anything that I know of. It's just a catch phrase people tend to use.
Get a clutch that will hold the torque you plan on making. Anything N/A an Exedy OEM replacement should be able to handle without issue.

the post was asking if anyone had EXPERIENCE WITH AN XTD EBAY CLUTCH
not if anyone wanted to try and be a knowitall when you clearly have no idea what the question was.
NICE TRY
READ THE QUESTION its just like taking a test
its a known brand which major issues. Cheaply made clutches and painted made in bumhellnowhere pressure plates.
Granted he didn't answer the exact question but he added insight that is more than likely more helpful. Some times a direct answer isn't the best, also inside voices please.

We've seen this question asked a ba-jillion times and it is always answered the same way.
So before you try and call someone out and not add anything else to the thread maybe STFU?
Hey new guy. I read the question. And that's why I recommended the Exedy. The XTDs are ****! I know full well what he's asking and that is; I'm trying to cheap out on a clutch and wanted to know if this inexpensive brand is okay to use and if it's a good decision.

Only traded/sold the cars. Don't let people that wanna run there dick suckers
Get under your skin. Buy the clutch. Follow the install and breakin instructions
and they will not fail you. Atleast my 4 haven't ever.
I know this is old now but I just seen this thread.

Personal experience:
First xtd stage 3 6puck was good I liked it, grabbed good
Replaced @ 12000 mi due to it getting soaked In oil
Second one lasted about 10,000 mi before it launched a spring out of the disc under normal highway driving on a 5 to 4 downshift. Spring got stuck and jammed up the clutch=tow home.
This was all on a 210whp 156tq h22 prelude street car.
I upgraded to a ACT 6 puck and it lasted 10,000 before this. Happened...
The ACT pressure plate is much stronger. Grab is comparable but ill favor the ACT. I think I am getting another ACT.
