Icon3 Axles binding or something causing a thumping/vibration.

Hey I am completely stumped and frustrated with a thumping that I have recently had. So here are the series of events that have led me to my problem:
-Swapped in a 96 B18b1
-Got "place racing" Ef/b series axles (one says cusco????)
-Wanted to lower it so I got ebay lowering springs. There was no binding or problems at this point.. This only lowered it about 1".
-I wanted it even lower so I got some ebay coilovers and dropped them to the bottom. lol The backs were fine, but the front was so low that the crankshaft pulley grinded on the strut rod. I lifted it up because the axles had some serious binding issues. After lifting it a bit so it looked ok, it had some minor binding, but nothing unbearable.
-Last night I pulled out the dust rings to give the axles more room b/c I heard it would help with the binding. I did not re-torque the axle nut to oem spec, but I tried to tighten them with a breaker bar.
-Today, I drove on the highway to a salvage yard and the vibration wasn't that bad, even at high speeds. When I left, the binding was horrible. I tried to get on the highway and the car was shaking so hard, my rearview mirror sloped down. It felt as if my wheel was falling off. I tried lifting up a lot, and the binding is less, but under heavy acceleration or deceleration, it shakes pretty bad.

Is the axle broken? If so, I am getting ready to go to college and I can't afford some nice axles from raxles or driveshaft shop right now. Idk if I can even get autozone axles. If I can, what axles are shorter and would work?

PLEASE HELP!!! I love my car, but all of this doesn't make any sense!!

I think this makes sense. Check for play in the wheel bearings.

Do I just jack it up and see if there is any play? What is the oem torque for the axle nuts?

What would over torqueing the nut cause?

over torquing them will cause the rotor with axle in it and be very hard to turn by hand

Over-torquing would not cause your issue. Are you sure the axles are the correct length? Sounds like the axles are too long, causing binding in the cv joint. If raising the car gets rid of it, raise the car back up.

I raised it back up higher than stock and its still there when I give it gas. I think that I may have damaged the axle and need a new one. I forgot to add that soon after lowering it, the inner cv boot blew out and there is grease everywhere now.

Alright well I ordered a new 89 Integra passenger axle since it's shorter by 1/4" than a 90-93 integra axle.

We had an issue similar to this on our K series CRX. Ended up being a bad axle even though it checked out visually. Has us stumped for a while! Through a new pair of axles in and it was good to go. Hopefully the new axle will fix yours.

it compresses the wheel bearing too much and causes it to be harder to turn.
