Engine Info---HELP
Hey all
A buddy of mine wrecked their 2010 Honda Civic. It was a Vtech engine but the car was not an SI model. They are going to get the car checked out later on, and just to have a head start on anything i asked her to hold onto the engine. Before i make any other moves though i was wondering if anyone can help me with this. Her car was automatic. Does that engine fit in my car? What kind of changes would i need to make before it can? Any information on this would be extremely valuable. Hopefully someone can either reassure me that the engine is fine or that maybe im wasting my time.
Also im looking to sell a roll cage. It came with my car and it looks a little custom made so im not sure how much its actually worth. Looks in decent condition. If anyone can help me price it as well i would appreciate the help.

It will certainly require some cutting and LOTS of fabricating. And that's just to get the engine to sit in your car. Now you have to look at axles. And then wire the OBDII engine/computer/etc to your OBD0 car...
Just pass on this one. It's not like it makes that much power anyways lol

Heh. That does sound a bit painful. Would I have to do the same if i wanted to drop an H22 motor in it? I know every engine swap comes with certain things that need to be changed. I just dont want to get an engine and find out that i pretty much need to replace most of the car before i can drive right.
If you just want something fun and easy, go B series.
