Default frozen stabilizer link

hello,

2001 accord four door, 4 cyl.

need to remove the sway bar link to replace. just spins on the inside.

Any suggestions? heat? Plasma cut? grinder?

they're a pain, ur supposed to be able to remove them wit a crowfoot on the nut and a hex/allen wrench in the end of the stud but that usually never works for me. u can try to pop the ball joint apart wit a hammer or pry bar so u can get vise grips on the ball n use an impact gun or just cut it out if u got room to grind it out.

X2 on getting a grinder and cut it out , had to do that to both sides a few weeks ago, took 10 mins

Use a box end wrench on the nut and a hex driver on a ratchet.

*You will ratchet the allen as though you are tightening it to remove it from the nut*

Or a ratcheting box end with a normal allen key.

cut off tool then grinder. thanks for the help guys.

tried the allen, it was too rusted to get it in there. damn original parts.
