I need help asap. My civic will crank and run but as soon as i put in it gear and lightly accelerate it shuts off. I can't even drive it a ft before it shuts off. i just replaced the fuel filter and the engine and motor have been taken apart and cleaned out and/or fixed. Could this be the fuel injector or the distributor? Any suggestions would help at this point. Thanks

 

Will it rev up when not in gear? Is it idling smoothly? Auto or manual?

 

manual and now it will only run for a few seconds before it shuts off and it makes a noise right before it does. not idleing smooth either
