Default 98 civic ex vs 00 civic ex wire harness

can a 1998 civic ex full interior wire harness (headlight, dashboard, cabin, floor, rear) work in a 2000 civic ex?

i disagree sometime downgrading can lead to a better benefit upgrade thus a reason why they make obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.

He is talking about OBD2A and OBD2B, combing the two is a nightmare.

he's asking about the interior and radiator harnesses.

use the 99+ cabin wiring. The floor and dash harnesses are different between the two. same goes for the radiator harness.
for example: the radio, AC, and pwr windows/locks have plugs with different pinouts and different locations. the 96-98 radiator harness uses 2 plugs to join the cabin harenss vs teh 99-00 single plug.
You can mix and match the two however its a massive pain in the ***!!
..of course, if you have an empty shell and are replacing everything you can put either type of harness in the car and build up for that. just make sure you use the same components from the same year/type of wiring you install.
