Hey there im in need of a 17310-S0X-A02 Canister Vent SHut valve for my 02 accord.
Ive noticed DORMAN parts for a variety of parts.
any thoughts opinions on DORMAN parts?

 

Dorman is pretty good for unobtanium parts, but sometimes their parts are not the best in quality. Door hinge pins, tailgate cables, various clips and fasteners that are not longer available from the OEM or never were sold separately, sure.

Cough up the $50 bucks for a new canister vent valve, or locate a wreck and buy used and be done with it. On Emissions related devices, stick with OEM when you can.

 

Don't go cheap ebay no-name brand parts and don't go Mevotech is really the only advice that I ever give out in terms of using caution when buying parts.

Sorry.....Dorman is a fine company and their products are sold all of the time without issues.

LOST AGAIN youve had great experience with DORMAN parts?

 

I have several Dorman suspension parts in both my accord and camry with no issues whatsoever.

 

considering that I chased an engine squeal on three pulley's for my ls1 engine and all were doorman, I say run...

 

What isn't from China or some other country anymore?

Yes I have used their stuff before without any issues......window reg's, exhaust manifold, vss, control arms, ect.
