I'm in the market for a fairly decent alarm system. i saw the autopage alarm on ebay for $180. are these any good? i want one w/a lot of options. if those aren't any good, what are some more good ones for around $300? if my integra doesn't have an automatic trunk release, is there anyway to use something from an alarm so that i can push the button and the rear hatch opens?

Having installed them, I dont like them. Get an Avital or any other DEI product.

 

what about them didn't you like? and w/the DEI ones, where's a good/cheap place to buy them from? Whats a good model they make? and i was wondering about something. a lot of alarms come w/the option for the trunk poper thing. i have a '98 GS Integra and the only way i can open my trunk is w/the key. is there anyway i can make mine so that the alarm trunk poper will work? thanks.

 

yes most alarms have channels that can be used to power a trunk release selonid.. you would probably be happy w/ something like a viper 500 or 600esp maybe the 550esp if your car is auto or you can find someone to install the remote starter on a manual tranny check out http://www.alarms.com for all of dei's products including sensors and whatnot, then go to check out http://www.ebay.com for cheap prices and then pay someone to install it for you
