Default Revs bounce between 1500-1700rpm when giving gas

B18C was recently rebuilt stock in my 2000 EK.

Every component is pretty much brand new besides the alternator. Car is giving 3 codes, ECT sensor (the wires became brittle and snapped when the motor was taken out), Intake air temp, and IACV. The IACV is a brand new Denso IACV and I'm still getting the code. The biggest issue is when I rev the car up to 1500 rpms it starts bouncing from 1500 to about 1700 rpms unless I give a more gas. It really sucks in 1st and 2nd gear if I forget to give it gas the car jerks like a bitch.

Anyone run across this before?

Check to see if you swapped the IACV and IAT connectors, or swapped one/both with a third different component. Also look at & smell the inside of the ecu, you may have burned a component inside it from having the wrong connectors swapped.

I believe it's still using the Civic fuel pump. Still running stock FPR.

Will do, but when I find how do I differentiate? They all look the same...

Also possibly coinciding with the fuel pump, I am currently having an issue where it takes me at least 5-6 starts before car will start without dying. After the 6th time I give it car for a minute and then it idles fine without dying.

Google the wire colors. If you don't label them with tape when pulling them off, you should KNOW the colors. If not, you (or your mechanic) shouldn't be playing with engines.
