I am absolutely flabbergasted that a 2 second pull results in enough data to tune the car.

Hell, I think the 6-second sweep tests I do sometimes are a bit short.

i was wondering that too. the best thing you can do is collect as much data without over straigning the motor IMO!!!

I couldn't watch it because of the ghetto "music." Most people would rather just hear the engine.

It may be picked by the editor but approved by the shop and tuner. Or it would be different.

This isn't about different "culture". this is about NJ guys and the way they do things that makes it all look like its supposed to be 106 & Park. Its like a Tornado Siren in the Midwest sounding off once a month as a drill; everyone in the area knows that its part of their lifestyle and daily routine. But it doesn't mean that its something you want to hear on a regular basis. Its annoying whether it comes on in April... Or September.

I'm just spit-balling here. It's really not that deep. I just hit mute.

Wow, you guys need to chill. This isn't a video editing forum lol

On a technical note, 3rd gear is a bit silly. Especially with those baby tires.

There was an issue with the vtc output on the aem.
A kpro was available so that's what we used.

There are many ways to skin a cat. Some might need more data to get the same job done but dynojets have worked fine for me and countless other top tuners. I don't go on forums criticizing others how they do there job, I let my results speak at the track.

Most of these dyno videos/rap videos are made by/for the owners. I have no final cut. If I did I still wouldn't change anything. The owners are free to do whatever they want even if they want tornado sirens and cattle walking by in the background.

Fair enough!

If you get enough data to tune the car like that, more power to you.
