I recently bought an alarm system off of ebay for a 96 GS-R. Looks a lot like this.

It also has the auto window roll up feature. My car is a 5-spd, but I would like the auto-start feature to work also.
I 'm pretty sure i could install it myself, but I would rather have it done right. I'm looking for someone who has a lot of experience installing them, please list references and how much you'd charge to put it in.

I'm not a 'professional' but I have done a ton of car stereo work and I have just re-installed a viper 300+ into a civic hybrid I am rebuilding from the sheet metal up. I am certain I can help you out. The basic alarm install is really straight forward and the window roll up feature isn't too complicated either. The remote start on the other hand is another story. I know it can be done on a five speed the only problem is you have to insure that you ALWAYS leave the car in neutral for it to work safely. It MAY be possible to fab some sort of interlock to duplicate this safety feature on a 5 speed but havent done it, only thought about it.

I have no idea what I would charge, $50 plus a six pack of beer? Tell me what you think is fair
