Just got my first Honda that is new to me and runs. 2013 Si in Taffeta White. Loving it. I have been in Honda-Tech for awhile, just haven't posted anything in a long time. My first Honda was a 91 CRX that I got from a co-worker with a crappy Z6 swap. Was trying to get it redone, but got sick of it and parted it out and traded the shell for a 92 Prelude S. Almost had the reconstruction done on the Lude, when I almost lost my hand putting the motor back in. Finally gave it to a friend of my wife's 2 years ago and he used mine to get his running. When my wife told her mom what I got, she said "he finally got himself a honda."

I just picked up a taffy white '13 si sedan a couple weeks ago myself, great car.

If you take it back to the dealer they should be able to remove the pinstripe for you

Too much, got way less for my trade in and then paying it off also. So I broke about even. $25k out the door, w/ 6 miles on it. Gas and monthly payment are better, but insurance went up about $30 a month.

 

Read my mind, took it off today. Just gotta wash it tomorrow.

25k? WITH a trade in? I think I paid 21k for my 08 when I bought it new. Anyways I do like the new sedan wing, but did you drive the new Focus ST at all before buying? Strongly leaning towards that, and I hate Ford generally speaking. 23k gets you one fully loaded with the awesome Recaros, 21 is base I think?

 

That's OTD, which includes taxes (and registration?). Sounds like he was upside down on the trade-in as well.

 

ill post some pics up soon of my 09 fa5. gotta love the front 09 on fa5's. im also installing fd2 type r spoiler, doing custom 3rd brake light, and hfp style front lip with sti lip underneath with canards, mugen rr rear lower lip with 3rd brake light and mugen side skirts with feels side skirts lip.

ill do pics before and after showing the progression since i am saving up for most of this. should have wing up by mid julyish after i paint it black.

Yea. they gave me alot less for my trade in that I was hoping. But yes 25k was out the door. I love the car. Took the pinstripe off a couple of weeks ago. Trying to figure out what little things to do next with it.

 

DANG...I only had to finance $23K on my 2013 Si Sedan. I got mine at Bryan Honda in Fayetteville...and got 0.9% financing through American Honda. Mine is Crystal Black Pearl. The taffeta white is sexy as fu*k though.
