PA 1990 Honda Accord EX with JDM F22B DOHC Prelude Swap

Default 1990 Honda Accord EX with JDM F22B DOHC Prelude Swap

I have a 1990 Honda Accord Ex for sale. Car is a 5 speed and has 185,523 miles on the odometer right now. Has an F22B DOHC swap from a 1993 JDM Prelude in it, which has roughly 90,000 miles on it at this point in time. I have driven this car for about 3 and half years at this point and have never had a problem after the motor was replaced, at 144,400 miles. Motor swap was done right by me a former certified Honda Technician and retains the power steering and A/C (Which I might add works flawlessly and has been converted to 134a refrigerant.). All of the belts and gaskets were done when the motor was out, including the timing belt and balance shaft belts. Other then motor, ecu, K&N drop in air filter, header, and wheels this car is completely stock. I will also add now for the record, that this car NEEDS NOTHING UNTIL 250,000 miles and THAT EVERYTHING MECHANICAL WORKS.

Exterior:
-All exterior lights have been resealed, except for the headlights. Amber corner lights are two weeks old.
- New Honda taillight seals at 140,000
- Eurodezign high beam bulbs
- Sylvania Silver star low beam bulbs
- Rear quarters have had rust repaired, but it is coming thru again.

Interior:
-90-91 optional armrest
-Suede shift boot with green stitching
-92-95 Honda civic shift ****
-2000 Acura Integra head unit. (Yes, everything on it works and comes with the radio code.)
-Car has an antenna control switch in it. (Switch is not wired up at the moment, so the antenna goes up all the time when the radio is on. I can show the new owner how to hook up the switch when they buy.)
-94-97 Honda accord map light. (Looks like it's stock.)

Suspension/Brakes/Tires:
-All new front ball joints. 156,000 miles
- Front rotor resurfaced with oem Honda brake pads. 136,000 miles
-New wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and drums. 164,000 miles
-94-97 Honda Accord EX wheels powder coated silver($400)

Engine and Transmission:
-1993 JDM Prelude F22B DOHC swap (Bought from JE Import Performance in Baltimore Maryland. Paid $680 for the automatic swap. Converted motor to manual.) Has approx. 90,000 miles on it at this point in time. Swap retains power steering and A/C as mentioned above. Motor is run off of a P06 ECU that was chipped by d112crazy. He has the full write up on here for the JDM F22B DOHC swap, for those of you who don't know who he is.

-1990 EX Transmission (This is the original transmission that came with the car. Does not grind at all and does not pop out of gear. Car averages 33 mpgs because of the longer gear ratios.
-No name 4-2-1 header (Bought used) 172,000
-Walker B-pipe 168,000 miles
-Walker muffler with chrome exhaust tip 183,000 miles
-Exedy OEM clutch and OEM resurfaced flywheel. 144,000 miles
-K&N Air Filter at 144,000 miles
-New clutch release bearing at 144,000 miles.
-Honda OEM battery(Has 5 years left on the warranty.
-New NGK spark plugs and oem Honda plug wires. 144,000 miles
-New Honda distributor cap and Honda rotor. 144,000 miles
-New Honda Cam Seal. 151,000 miles
-New oem valve cover gasket with spark plug seal. 144,000 miles
-New oem oil pan gasket. 144,000 miles
-New timing belt and oem water pump. 144,000 miles
-New oem balance shaft belt. 144,000 miles
- ALL FLUIDS HAVE BEEN CHANGED AT LEAST ONCE, WHILE I HAVE OWNED THE CAR. This means everything.

The Bad:
-Car needs a LF fender. Car was recently in a hit and run incident. Frame and door are not damaged the fender is just crumpled up. Door still opens. ( Have paint to paint a fender. Just don't have time to do it. Buyer will get paint with car if I do not fix it before hand.)
-Driver's door stop is broken ($10 fix)
- Tires have 5/32nds of tread left on them (Really not a big deal should last another year.)



Car will come with a brand new Pennsylvania state inspection and emissions done. Car will also come with some extra parts I've acquired over the years, if the new owner wants them that is. This car is not perfect, but it is reliable and it's quick for what it is. If you want a perfect show queen, this isn't it.

PRICE is $1500

The price is of course negotiable, but with that said I have about $3,000 to $4,000 invested this car. I have a folder of receipts to prove all the work I have stated above has been done. Car is located in Elizabethtown Pennsylvania. If you have any questions or are interested email me.

Buyer will need to provide there own tag, since there will not be one on the car.
