Take it to a shop and have them make the determination. They can see it in 3D instead of pictures. Best case, they will say resurface it which will save you some money and you will get a little bit lighter flywheel (not by much). Worst case, they will say to replace it. Either way, you will get your answer.

It looks like it has heat cracks in it and if so its not worth resurfacing. Buy a new one, id go aftermarket (lightweight)

Well, you can get OEM type replacements from the autoparts stores for ~$50-60. Lightweight aftermarket ones usually start at double that and go up from there.

I clicked this thread with intentions of saying Resurface, as I have done many times with success.

But after seeing your pictures, buy a new one, as said new pieces can be had for as low as $40, your flywheel has been thru hell heat and back, I wouldnt use that again

new flywheels are pretty cheap.

and theyre probably a bit lighter. my OE replacement from clutchcityonline was a couple lbs lighter for sure.

Since you already have everything opened up, just install a lighter flywheel. It will also be easier on the engine as the revs will drop quicker(and raise faster.)

I'd recommend the fidanza flywheel, the lighter the better if you know how to drive. I have a 7lb on the B16. If you want a good used B series flywheel, pm me.
