Car is a 96' civic coupe d16y8 5spd. Engine sounds and feels like its choking. Like its not getting enough fuel. Pulled spark plugs and was white. Replaced fuel filter and cleaned tb and ran better for a bit but the symptoms came back but worst. It died twice today trying to just cross the street. Tps sensor readings are normal. Starting to think maybe its the fpr. Any ideas?

Before you bumped he thread did you check the FPR? When was the last tune up (includes the fuel filter)? CELs?

 

White plugs probably running lean. Did you check your timing? any CELs?
