Today me and my friend change my auto tranny on my 94 accord ex because the other one went out...after putting everything back together and changing the right axle the engine light came on...we took the car for a drive and everything seems to be working fine but idk if the check engine light has to do anything with the tranny..... can anyone help???

 

You need to check your self diagnostics. You can do this by using the paperclip method.

If it is your transmission the D4 light will flash using this procedure.

Here is the procedure for reading the check engine codes on your car.


Under the glove box


2 pin connector in mount/bracket


2 pin SCS connector that gets shorted.
