Quick Opinion . . good idea, bad idea . .. seems they do alot of machine work to the block . . .1350 to my door . . .

My only issue would be if there was an issue the hassle of getting it back to them, proving it was their fault, etc.

Seems ok, but I am guessing if you take it to a local engine shop they could do the same thing for the same price or a lot cheaper if you pulled your own motor and dropped it off. At least if you go this route you could get your own parts to have put in the engine during the rebuild.

Shop around a bit and compare
