i understand that wings west makes this front air dam for comptech, but what does it look like???.does i t actually look like the oem type r or does it look like the wings west pointy one???

Yup the comptech piece is an exact copy of the ITR lip made out of urethane. Pretty good for $229 plus shipping.

yah ... i have the comptech itr lip, looks exact, the only better thing is that if you hit some ****, it won't shatter beyond repair like the oem lip. polyurethane bends llike whoa!

Most likely the stock lip is made from urethane.

I once heard that the comptech lip uses some type of stick tape. The OEM uses clips and screws. So I think the way the comptech goes on is different....but they look the same.

 

some have complained that the comptech lip's fit isn't
exact...but on most pics i've seen...i wouldn't have known.
some pics i've seen..i thought it was the OEM lip..but the
owner of it was like naw its the comptech lip...

you probably can't beat the fit of the OEM lip...
but the durability,availability, and price of the comptech lip
is definitely something to consider.

then again, i did get my type r lip used for 150 =P
