Roaring Noise in 2008 Honda Pilot with new tires
Have a 2008 Honda Pilot
Problem: loud roaring in front after new Cooper 235/70R/16 DTP tires. Noise increases with Speed and remains if RPMS are reduced to idle when transmission is put in neutral while traveling.
Mystery: Prior tires were Goodyear Integrity (factory installed) with 71,000 miles AND THERE WAS NO SIMILAR noise. New tire dealer says not his tires. Honda Service Mgr. (without testing ) says must be tires!
Now What???

Are the new tires more of an aggressive tread pattern? The tires could have a bad belt also but thats more vibration than noise. My crv hated falken tires, swapped them out to toyo and lost the vibration and noise.
the tyres mate ,I had the same on a focus ,had a set of tyres fitted and sounded like the wheel bearings had gone ,went back and complained and it turned out that they had fitted budget tyres
