HELP! ACCORD V6 TRANNY PROBLEM
sup honda-tech,
i have a 1998 honda accord v6 automatic. recently the transmission started slipping so i went to Dallas JDM motors to pick up another j30 auto tranny, i got the new one swapped in... flushed out the old tranny fluid, and put in 1 quart of lucas and 3 quarts of regular import ATF.
Even after the new transmission swap, the car hesitates to shift into 2nd gear and just revs up when i barely give it gas. It feels straight up like a slipping clutch on a manual car.
I am seriously out of idea and fed up.
Has anyone ever experienced this and does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could be?
thanks.

1)check to see if the fluids you put in are compatible with eachother, sometimes certain fluids are not meant to be mixed, 2)make sure you have enough fluid, it should be checked when the car is fully warmed up and while running, 3)check to see if the torque converter is slipping, 4) scan for transmission codes
cleaned up lock-up solenoid.... the ones that look like 35mm dual vtec solenoids, that looked super clogged. worked alot better but still shifting SUPER slow and added two more quarts of valvoline full synthetic.
