Need to know if safe for now till I get another y7 head
Do I need to use d15 cam gear or adjustable

 

Motor starts but runs shitty and barely can rev rpms

 

It will work.
Not sure on the cam gear though.

 

I left the 8valve can gear on but y7 belt was way too short so I tried putting my adjustable from my y7 head n it almost fit but still to short ..I got a d15 one n it fits but a little slack thinkiI'm going to try put the 8valvr one back on

 

This would be similar to my PM3 head on 1.6 block. The belt I used was from the D16A6. The cam gear should still work since it has marks for Si/EX and non Si/EX engines.

Out of curiousity, what ECU are you using? And what is your ignition timing set at?
